CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Neighbors near the new Interstate 485 in north Charlotte will see plans to move Prosperity Church Road.

The neighborhoods along Prosperity Church Road have seen a lot of changes in the last decade.
Planners say traffic could gridlock once I-485 opens, because of a massive increase of new homes and businesses.

The plan extends Ridge Road from the Highland Creek neighborhood to get traffic on the new, four-lane Prosperity Church Road.
Several unfinished streets would be connected.

The public meeting will be held Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
