New 18-story tower proposed for Charlotte’s Midtown

Northwood Ravin Northwood Ravin will break ground this year on two major multifamily projects in Charlotte. The first is a 328-unit apartment tower at 900 S. McDowell St. The project will be the second high-rise multifamily development in the city's midtown neighborhood.

CHARLOTTE — The Midtown skyline could have a new tower in the future, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Northwood Ravin wants to build an 18-story tower.

It will have more than 300 units near The Pearl.

There will also be multi-family units and townhomes on top of a parking garage.

The building would be located along McDowell Street.
