SOUTH CAROLINA — A new law protecting South Carolina shrimpers is officially in effect.
Restaurants now have to share if imported shrimp is on their menus.
Violators will be given a warning, then have to pay a fine if it happens again.
Shrimpers say this could help them compete with importing businesses.
