MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A heads up for drivers in Mooresville.
A new replacement bridge for a 48-year-old bridge is now open.
NCDOT crews took about eight months to replace the bridge on Linwood Road over Coddle Creek.
Drivers had to detour around that part of Linwood.
The new bridge includes wider lanes.
