CHARLOTTE — Work on a new residential development in Cotswold is underway that will bring 21 luxury, custom homes to the Charlotte neighborhood.
Charlotte Living Realty Group is spearheading the project behind Trinity Presbyterian Church off Providence Road, having purchased about 8.5 acres from the church for $2.675 million in September 2018, according to Mecklenburg County property records.

It is working with Charlotte-based homebuilder Grandfather Homes and Grandfather’s sister company, Mattie Rose Development, to build out the community, called ClairCross. Grandfather has an agreement in place to take 10 of the 19 lots.
Charlotte Living Realty co-owner and broker Shad Rafferty said he can envision two or three additional homebuilders in the community, which will consist of 17 single-family homes and two duets — two homes attached by a shared wall.
