New restaurants, retail coming to SouthPark’s Phillips Place

CHARLOTTE — Lincoln Harris has signed several new tenants and renewed leases at Phillips Place in SouthPark.

The developer is investing $50 million over the next five years to revamp, refresh and strengthen Phillips Place. The 130,000-square-foot, 35-acre center opened in 1997 — and was the first project in town to mix retail, residential and entertainment.

Southern Pecan Gulf Coast Kitchen opened in the former WP Kitchen + Bar space earlier this month.

John Michael Kitchens has snagged an 1,100-square-foot showroom for custom cabinetry and high-end kitchen equipment brands including Viking, Miele, Kraus and True.
