CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Stir Charlotte, a new-to-market concept — known for its elevated craft cocktails, oyster bar and scratch-made food — has opened in South End.
Its opening had been delayed by several months because of the pandemic. Current North Carolina restrictions limit restaurant capacity to 50%.

“We’re staying positive and focused on what we can control,” says Dennis Korn, general manager. “We’re looking at the long-term approach. We think we’ll weather through this.”
Stir is part of Beacon Partners’ The RailYard, at 1422 S. Tryon St. It occupies a 6,100-square-foot space on the ground floor of that project, close to the light rail’s Bland Street Station.
