CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man has been arrested days after a shot was fired inside a Steele Creek Walmart, according to police sources.

Channel 9 learned Friday 21-year-old Michael Frost was arrested.

CMPD said the suspect was also not found inside the store.

Police were called to the Walmart on South Tryon Street shortly after 7:20 p.m. Monday for reports of a shooting.

When they got there, officers, along with a K-9 unit and SWAT team members, evacuated everyone and searched for victims. Police said though there was evidence that someone may have been hurt, no victims were found.

Police sources said Frost was in custody but did not say what charges he’s facing.
