CHARLOTTE — Firefighters responded to a house fire in northeast Charlotte on Wednesday morning.
According to the Charlotte Fire Department, the call came in around 10:16 a.m.
There was heavy fire and smoke showing. Officials said the fire did around $80,000 in damage. No one was injured.
Five adults and two children were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting them.
Twenty-six firefighters brought the incident under control in 20 minutes. An extra engine was brought in due to the heat.
