MONROE, N.C. — Two Monroe Police Department officers and an off-duty Union County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant rescued a kitten and shared photos on Facebook.
The kitten was trapped in the wheel well of a car, and officers managed to safely remove the feline.
“Sometimes protecting and serving comes in very small packages,” Monroe Police stated in the social media post.
