PINEVILLE, N.C. — According to officials two people were involved in a two-car wreck on Rock Hill - Pineville Road around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Officials said the drivers were taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday morning, Medic confirmed that one of the drivers, a female, was pronounced dead at Carolinas Medical Center Main.
Officials said there were no passengers in either vehicle.
According to Medic the driver of the other vehicle is still in the hospital and recovering.
