One hospitalized after south Charlotte assault, MEDIC says

CHARLOTTE — One person was taken to the hospital after a reported assault in south Charlotte early Thursday morning.

It happened in the 220 block of West Tremont Street.

MEDIC said one person was hurt, but their injuries are non-life threatening.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said they were unable to find any evidence of a shooting and could not locate a victim.
