ANDERSON COUNTY, N.C. — One person died, and two others were injured following a single-vehicle crash in Anderson County early Monday morning.
The fatal crash happened just after 1:11 a.m. on S.C.-81 near Country Lane, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
A Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on S.C.-81 when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway. The truck then struck a ditch and a gas line.
Four occupants were in the vehicle during the collision. Two occupants were transported to a local hospital; one person in the truck was uninjured.
The name of the person who died has not yet been released.
