CHARLOTTE — One person is seriously injured after a fire in south Charlotte.
Firefighters responded just before 12:45 p.m. to the 2900 block of Heathstead Place where they said smoke was visible upon arrival.
According to MEDIC, 1 patient was treated for life-threatening injuries and transported to a local hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
