YORK COUNTY, S.C. — One person is dead after a late-night crash on I-77 in York County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the crash on I-77 north at mile marker 73. A 2025 Ford Bronco was driving north on I-77 when it ran off the road to the left, came back onto the road, and went off the road to the right before overturning and hitting nearby trees.
Officials said the driver, who has not been identified, was the only occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene.
SCHP is still investigating the crash.
