The David and Nicole Tepper Foundation and Classroom Central are providing school supplies to students as they return to the classroom. More than 750 volunteers participated in a recent event to stuff backpacks with essential items for students in need.
The initiative is supported by significant financial contributions from the foundation and the Carolina Panthers. To date, the two organizations have donated more than $3.5 million to Classroom Central to support educational needs.
Channel 9 is also participating in the effort to equip students through its 30th annual “9 School Tools” drive. The station is working with Classroom Central on the initiative, which is currently underway.
