CHARLOTTE — The Carolina Panthers is hosting the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football, marking the franchise’s first appearance in the league’s marquee primetime broadcast slot since 2016.
The team will wear black jerseys, pants, and helmets for the game as part of a stadium-wide blackout theme, with attending fans encouraged to wear black as well.
Ahead of kickoff, the organization is hosting a series of pregame fan events along Mint and Graham streets outside Bank of America Stadium.
Admission to the events is free and does not require a game ticket.
Country music star and Panthers fan Chris Lane will perform a live pregame concert from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. as part of the Bud Light Block Party. The block party will also feature appearances from Panthers Legends, the TopCats, and other team entertainment groups.
Family-focused activities will be open from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Panthers Play Yard presented by Atrium Health. Features include Play 60 inflatables, face painting, LED seesaws, balloon artists, a photo booth, and a live DJ.
Atrium Health and the team will also host a giveaway on Legends Row from 6 p.m. to 7:50 p.m., including a dedicated photo station honoring the NFL’s Crucial Catch initiative.
Additional fan experience stations will operate along Graham Street from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Outside the Panthers Team Store, the Lowe’s Earn Your Sunday Tour will offer interactive games, fan photo opportunities, free giveaways, and EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 gaming consoles. Coca-Cola’s Big Red Activation will offer a custom hat bar, team-themed bracelet giveaways, artificial intelligence touchdown videos, beverage samples, and interactive recycling initiatives.
