MONROE, N.C. — A portion of Lancaster Avenue in Monroe will be closed to traffic for several weeks.

Crews are installing a sewer main between Branch and Parker streets.
Local traffic is allowed, but everyone else will be detoured. The road is expected to reopen on Aug. 24.
