Pedestrian struck, seriously hurt in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — One person was taken to the hospital after they were hit by a car in west Charlotte Friday morning.

It happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of South Mint and West Morehead Streets.

MEDIC said the pedestrian has serious injuries.

So far, there’s no word on whether or not the driver will face any charges.
