CHARLOTTE — Grammy-nominated rapper Petey Pablo will headline the halftime show for the Charlotte Hornets’ 2026–27 home opener on Oct. 23 at Spectrum Center.
The game against the Atlanta Hawks is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m.

Pablo, a Greenville, N.C. native, has represented the state in hip-hop for more than two decades. His hit single “Raise Up,” along with songs including “Carolina Colors” and “Vibrate,” has become a regular feature at sporting events throughout the Carolinas.
This will be Pablo’s first Hornets game performance since 2022.
Fans attending the home opener will receive an exclusive “Raise Up” t-shirt upon entering the arena. The team and Pablo are also launching a limited-edition merchandise collaboration that will be sold on game night at the Charlotte Hornets Fan Shop inside Spectrum Center while supplies last.

Limited tickets for Opening Night are still available through the team’s website.
The Hornets take on the Hawks at Spectrum Center on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.
All non-nationally televised games will be available in the Charlotte area on Channel 9 or TV64 throughout the season.
