Piece of fallen metal narrowly missed toddler inside Waffle House, mother says

DENVER, N.C. — Andrea Bolen wants answers after she said a piece of metal fell from near the ceiling in a Gaston County Waffle House and nearly hit her 2-year-old son.

He is OK, but she said it smashed the iPad he was holding. Bolen filed a police report and an insurance claim with the company.
