CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Neighbors are rattled after investigators said two men armed with shotguns held up the Three Amigos Mexican Restaurant off of Central Avenue.

"I think it is tragic. Why would something in such a nice neighborhood like this have to happen?" questioned a neighbor.

Police said as the men left the restaurant, one suspect fired a shot and indirectly struck one employee in the leg. That person was taken to the hospital; a second employee was also transported as a precaution.

"That's kind of shocking ... Scary," said Gail Stention.

Stention was having lunch in the restaurant just hours after the shot was fired. She didn't know about the robbery until reporters told her.

On Sunday night, she has one message for the police.

"Find them. Catch them," said Stention.

Other neighbors and customers Eyewitness News spoke with agreed. They said they just want to see justice.

"Hopefully they had some sort of surveillance video and they will be able to put them away," said a neighbor.

Police said they are checking on surveillance video and they are going around to nearby businesses to see if they have surveillance video of the suspects.
