Police: 2 people shot after large party reported in Salisbury

SALISBURY, N.C. — Two people were shot after a large party was reported in Rowan County early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting happened just before 4 a.m. on S. West Street in Salisbury.

Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting or if any arrests have been made.

When officers got to the area, they found two people who had been shot. Both people were taken to the hospital, where they are in stable condition.

Police said it was reported that there was a large party in the area before the shooting happened.

No other information has been released.

At approximately 3:50 am on Sunday, July 5, 2020, two people were shot in the area of 200 S.
