Police trying to identify body found behind Gastonia Pizza Hut

GASTONIA, N.C. — Police in Gastonia are trying to identify a body found behind a pizza restaurant Thursday.

Investigators believe the man's body could have been behind the Pizza Hut on New Hope Road for weeks.

There was no sign of foul play, police said, and they are waiting on autopsy results.
