CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Polk Gyles, 59, of Indian Trail died in a wreck Friday afternoon on Highway 24/27 in Cabarrus County in the Midland area, troopers said.
Gyles was on a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he ran into the back of a 2015 Honda Civic.
Speed and alcohol was not a factor and no charges are expected. The driver of the Honda was not injured.
