SALISBURY, N.C. — Police are urging people to come forward and help them solve a case where a mother and her adult son were found stabbed to death inside a home in Salisbury nearly three months ago.
Police are investigating after a mother and her adult son were found stabbed to death inside a home in Salisbury last weekend.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 on Lincolnton Road.

According to police, 61-year-old Debra Brumley and her adult son 38-year-old Jonathan Brumley were found inside the house with several stab wounds.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials told Channel 9 that the case is being investigated as a double homicide and so far, no arrests have been made.
Police said the mother and son were last seen on Thursday, Oct. 22, and they were the only two people living at the home when the incident happened.
On Wednesday, police urged people to come forward with information about the case and to help them identify person or persons of interest.
“Mrs. Brumley was a grandmother, mother and sister,” Salisbury Police Chief Jerry Stokes said. “Mr. Brumley was a dad and a son.”
Several of the Brumley’s family members were with officers Wednesday, asking for the public’s help in solving the case.

One family member said Jonathan Brumley left behind four children, four children who also lost a grandmother.
“I just want to say that this senseless crime has just ripped out the hearts of the family, friends and people who loved Debbie and Jonathan very much,” Debbie Reynolds said. “I’m just asking that somebody can please help. It would be greatly appreciated so that we can bring these people to justice.”
