CHARLOTTE — One person was shot and killed in northwest Charlotte Friday morning, CMPD says.
Police were called to the 9700 block of Callabridge Court shortly after 10:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found a woman with a gunshot wound near the back parking lot of a Bank of America. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.
“I was shocked, but I wasn’t because actually things have gotten real bad up here,” a witness said.
Another said the incident was frightening because “bullets don’t have eyes.”
