CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have made an arrest in Charlotte’s 15th homicide of the year after a man was shot to death Sunday night in west Charlotte.
Officers were called to the shooting scene around 11 p.m. on Timberbrook Drive.
Investigators told Channel 9 that the victim, 44-year-old William Jacobs, was inside an apartment with several other people when someone shot him.
The shooter ran off before police arrived. Monday, they announced they have charged 39-year-old Davenon Alexander Farmer with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
