WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — A Watauga County man is now facing felony charges after police said he sexually assaulted a disabled person in a nursing home.
Charles Horton was originally charged with a misdemeanor when he was first arrested earlier this month.
Police said Horton knows the victim, who lives at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation.
Workers called police saying they saw the assault.
Horton was jailed with bail set at $250,000.
