CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the person they said shot a man, then stole his car early Wednesday morning in southeast Charlotte.

The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. at an apartment on Community Circle near Eastway and The Plaza.
Officers said the victim is expected to be OK.
Channel 9 was at the scene and could see crime scene tape surrounding the area as police searched for evidence.
No additional information has been released.
