ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are searching for a man who exposed himself to a Lancaster woman and her daughter in a Rock Hill pet store on Thursday.
The woman’s daughter told police she and her mother were looking for dog collars at PetSmart when a man came over to her and asked her about a collar. The woman looked down and noticed that the man was exposing himself, according to a Rock Hill police report.
The woman walked off to find a manager, the report says. While she and the manager were talking, the man approached them and started talking with them. At this time, his pants were zipped up.
Minutes later, the man began walking toward the door. The woman said she followed the man around Steak-n-Shake but then lost him when he took off running.
He is described as a black man with a thin mustache and beard, weighing about 145 pounds and about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, according to the report. He was wearing a plaid shirt and blue warmups at the time of the incident.
Police could not find anyone matching that description, but authorities say they are still looking.
