SALISBURY, N.C. — Police are searching for a 40-year-old man wanted in connection to a murder in Salisbury back in August.
Salisbury police officers were called to Carpenters Circle, less than 2 miles away from the Rowan-Salisbury Community College campus, at about 1 a.m. Aug. 22 for a shooting. When they arrived, officers found Gary Lowe, 39, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Lowe was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Officers said they have obtained a murder warrant for Samuel Lee White.
The Salisbury Police Department is investigating the shooting and asks that anyone with information on where White may be to contact Detective Drakeford at (704) 638-5333, (704) 638-5262 or send an email.
