CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are asking the public for help to find a man who they said robbed two hotels and shot a clerk.
The perpetrator robbed the Roadway Inn off West Sugar Creek Road on July 2 then 40 minutes later, he shot a clerk at the Drury Inn off W.T. Harris Boulevard.

The clerk suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
