CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police were searching for a driver just off Dunn Commons Parkway Tuesday afternoon.
Chopper Nine Skyzoom was over the scene Tuesday afternoon near Rozzelles Ferry Road.
Witnesses told Channel 9 reporter Trish Williford that officers were chasing a Ford Taurus in the area until it turned into an apartment complex. The car got a flat tire and crashed.

Witnesses said the driver got out of the car and ran.
