CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who cut off his electronic monitoring device Saturday.
Police are searching for Christopher Crittenden, who is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Crittenden was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release on Aug. 29, 2014.
Crittenden cut off his electronic monitoring device Saturday and was last known to be in the area of University City Boulevard.
Anyone with information on Crittenden's whereabouts should immediately call police.
