CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said a 66-year-old man who went missing Friday has been found and that he is safe.
Bason Barrett was last seen at around 10:30 a.m. walking near the area of Pondella Drive in Charlotte.
He was last seen wearing a gray hat, a brown or denim jacket and dark blue pants. On Saturday, police said Barrett, who was diagnosed with dementia, was found safe and was reunited with his family.
