CHARLOTTE — A popular music venue in NoDa is closed for renovations for several weeks.
Upgrades began Tuesday at the Neighborhood Theatre on East 36th Street.
Some of the improvements at the two-stage venue include new lighting and sound systems, according to our partners at The Charlotte Observer. There will also be new artist dressing rooms, general restrooms, and a reserved balcony.
The theatre is expected to reopen on Aug. 11 for a Franz Ferdinand show.
