CHARLOTTE — A newly delivered SouthPark multifamily community sold late last week for more than $116 million.
Germantown, Tennessee-based Mid-America Apartment Communities acquired Modera Liberty Row from Mill Creek Residential for $116.3 million on Aug. 21, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. That is about $486,000 per unit. The property is valued at $75.2 million, according to recent county assessment data.
The development had once been expected to deliver in spring 2024, but it was destroyed in a massive fire in 2023 that killed two workers.
