Harris Teeter announced Monday a voluntary recall of Fresh Foods Market Artisan Hummus Pine Nuts due to potential listeria contamination.
The supplier, Lantana Foods, notified the store about the possible contamination. Harris Teeter said it immediately removed the product from its cases when it received the notification.
Customers who purchased the item should not consume it, and instead should return it to the store for a full refund.
Harris Teeter is also notifying customers who might have purchased the product.
