CHARLOTTE — Some college graduates could end up making more than $200,000 in a few years working for Walmart.
The big retailer is starting a pilot program this summer called the “College2Career” program for recent college grads or students who are less than a year from graduating.

The program includes classroom time, hands-on training, and one-on-one mentoring with company leaders. At the end of the program, the top trainees will earn at least $65,000 per year.
In addition, participants will be on track to being a store manager within roughly two years. Walmart says the average manager earned $210,000 last year.
