ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — A registered sex offender in Anson County is suspected in a new child sex case.
Earlier this month, authorities issued a warrant for George Bergman III after he allegedly missed a court date.
Investigators said Bergman is also facing charges in Randolph County where detectives say he had sexual contact with a juvenile.
They said it happened while he was doing renovations on the victim's home.
