CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Planes packed with relief aid from Samaritan’s Purse will leave Charlotte Douglas International Airport Tuesday to help victims of the deadly earthquake in Nepal.

Thousands were killed when the quake struck one month ago.

The United Nations said there's still a big need for food and shelter for the tens of thousands left homeless by the quake.
