Revamped coffee, bar concept to launch in NoDa

CHARLOTTE — The Goodyear House is branching out in NoDa with a new concept.

Parent company Built on Hospitality is set for a revamp of its Chief’s Cocktail Parlor, according to Charlotte Business Journal. That venture at 3024 N. Davidson St. will close after coffee service on Aug. 23.

Four days later, a revamped shop called The Goodyear Bar will debut in its place, says chef Chris Coleman. Coleman, along with Sean Potter and A.J. Klenk are behind Built on Hospitality.

The goal is to incorporate the best elements of Chief’s Cocktail Parlor but capture the essence of The Goodyear House. The complementary concepts are located next to each other and share outdoor space.

Built on Hospitality is also behind Old Town Kitchen & Cocktails in Rock Hill and Folia in South End.
