Chester County deputies are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and one injured, but they don’t believe there is a danger to the public at this time.
Deputies responded to Kati Lane around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and found a male and a female with gunshot wounds.

The female was dead and the male was transported to Atrium Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
