Roads closed due to flooding from Hurricane Matthew

The North Carolina Department of Transportation sent out notices Saturday night on road closures in the area.

The following roads are closed until Monday in Anson County

  • Ratliff Gin Road
  • Sneedsboro Road
  • Country Club Road
  • Clark Mountain
  • Allen Road
  • Pinkston-River
  • Dennis Road
  • Grassy Island Road
  • Brown Creek Church Road

Closed until Oct. 17 in Anson County

  • German Hill Road
  • George Wright Road
  • High Rock Crusher

Closed in Richmond County

  • Northside Drive is closed until Friday
  • Broad Avenue (U.S. 74) until Monday

Closed in Stanly County

  • Old Mill Road in Albemarle closed until Monday

Closed in Cabarrus County

  • Bowman Barrier Road until Sunday morning.

Closed in Harnett County

  • I-95 near Dunn, North Carolina closed in both directions due to a breach of the dam at Rhodes Pond. Officials did not say when it would reopen.
