ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A Rowan County couple who mixed pool chemicals incorrectly is recovering from chemical burns after an explosion at their backyard pool.
Emergency crews said the couple made the mistake on Stokes Ferry Road Sunday night.
The couple can't get back into their home until a hazmat company cleans up the remaining chemicals.
