BOONE, N.C. — Samaritan’s Purse is ramping up its response to the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The relief organization has airlifted two Ebola treatment centers and more than 34 tons of medical supplies.
Earlier this year, specialists were also deployed to help establish infection-control protocols.
They also provided support to workers as they worked to contain the deadly virus.
