CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Within hours of the crash, all flights in and out of San Francisco were cancelled, leaving some travelers in Charlotte stranded.
A lot of people tried to get re-booked on Saturday night. Eyewitness News spoke with U.S. Airways, which said that only one flight made it out after the crash to San Francisco.
The tragic crash has caused flights to be cancelled in Charlotte and taken off the departure board.
People waited in long lines at U.S. Airways counters for hours to be re-booked, and while of course people's hearts go out to the victims of the deadly crash, people in Charlotte were also frustrated as they tried to get to San Francisco any way they could.
U.S. Airways said it's trying to get people out on Sunday.
