COLUMBIA, S.C.,None — Police found the body of South Carolina lobbyist Tom Sponseller, 61, in his office garage 10 days after his disappearance.
Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott said Sponseller's body was discovered on a lower level of a parking garage at 1122 Lady Street shortly before 11 a.m Tuesday.
Columbia Police Department investigators were following up on the investigation and found Sponseller in a double enclosed room at the lower-level parking garage.
The Richland County Coroner's Office is working to determine the exact cause of death.
Sponseller was the president and chief executive officer of the South Carolina Hospitality Association.
