CHARLOTTE — Nobody from North Carolina became a billionaire after ̶M̶o̶n̶d̶a̶y̶'̶s̶ Tuesday’s Powerball drawing, but one lucky person in Charlotte won a $3 million prize from a scratch-off ticket on Monday.
Carvent Webb bought a Fabulous Fortune ticket for $30 at a 7-Eleven on Mallard Creek Road, and it turned out to be a top winner.

Webb’s ticket was worth $3 million if he took 20 years of payments, but he opted for a $1.8 million lump sum. After taxes, he took home a little over $1.2 million.
According to the North Carolina Education Lottery, there are still two more Fabulous Fortune tickets with $3 million prizes.
